AZ-104 is Microsoft's core certification for Azure administration, covering identity, governance, storage, compute, virtual networking and monitoring. It is the standard, expected certification for genuine Azure Administrator roles in the UK.
People with some hands-on Azure or IT infrastructure experience already, not typically a genuine first certification.
No formal prerequisites, but Microsoft recommends around 6 months of hands-on Azure administration experience first, and completing AZ-900 (Fundamentals) beforehand is genuinely useful.
